Rio De Flag Flood Control Project

SWI identified the necessary property rights and ensured the project alignment was clear of all utility conflicts prior to the construction of new drainage facilities for the Rio de Flag by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This included preparation of complete plans, specifications and cost estimates for the utility relocation effort and for the acquisition of property rights for construction of the $54 million Rio de Flag Flood Control project. SWI has been involved in this project since 2004. In February 2020 received notification that this project was fully funded by the federal government.
