We go beyond basic engineering services to address environmental, social, and aesthetic concerns by providing innovative solutions to design challenges. “Engineering an Environment of Excellence” is what we do every day. We are uniquely qualified and committed to serving the engineering needs for your project.

Our vision is to be recognized regionally as a multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm grounded in excellence, innovation, and commitment to all projects from concept to completion. As one of the largest civil engineering firms in northern Arizona, we have the ability to pull qualified resources from all four of our offices to respond in a timely manner and meet aggressive schedules. SWI is large enough to handle large complex projects, yet small enough to provide individual service to each and every client regardless of the size of the project.

SWI provides unique civil engineering solutions for the following project types:

  • Septic Permits and Wastewater System Designs

Septic Permits and Wastewater System Designs

Shephard-Wesnitzer specializes in designing and permitting conventional and alternate wastewater septic designs for the Sedona, Verde Valley, Flagstaff, and Phoenix area.

We design septic systems and alternate wastewater design permits for Sedona, Flagstaff, Prescott, VOC (Village of Oak Creek), Rimrock, Camp Verde, Yavapai County, Coconino County, and Maricopa County and beyond.

The beautiful red rocks of Sedona are notorious for shallow soil conditions and setback issues. If your property has an issue with shallow soils, poor soil absorption, tight spaces, or challenging setbacks due to water sources or wells, call us to examine your possibilities. Treatment and disposal technologies include gravity and pressurized systems with and without pump basins.

    Shephard-Wesnitzer specializes in:

    • Conventional Design Permits
    • Alternate Design Permits
    • House Remodels which affect existing systems
    • And Tank Replacement Permits
