SWI managed the design development tasks, facilitated public meetings, assembled design plans, specifications and estimates, assisted with the bid process and performed construction management for this sewer improvement project. SWI coordinated reconstruction in an existing historic neighborhood, recognized sensitive potential tree removals and disruption of services, unknown utility locations and use of creative design alternatives to retrofit ADA sidewalks within existing infrastructure limits. Project Management tasks included coordination with City of Flagstaff Engineering, Public Works, Utilities and Parks & Recreation Departments, Flagstaff Public Schools, local businesses and numerous local residents.
