SWI designed this 230-lot subdivision is in a mountainous area. The City of Prescott has development codes to restrict building homes on steep hillsides. By using a slope analysis, GIS easily reported 4 categories of slope by lot for the client and the City of Prescott. These numbers were used to designate the locations and total buildable area of each lot and would avoid the higher slope areas.
