"We have been working in the Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead City area for several years and are proud to be opening an office that is dedicated to work in the area." Founded in 1990 in Sedona, SWI is the largest, locally owned civil engineering and surveying firm in Northern Arizona. Besides Sedona and now Kingman, SWI also has offices in Cottonwood, Prescott, and Flagstaff. SWI goes beyond basic engineering services to address environmental, social and aesthetic concerns, while providing innovative solutions to design challenges. From project concepts through design, inspection and construction management, SWI offers complete professional design and survey services to meet any client need. "The greater Kingman area is currently facing many of the same development challenges that we have experienced over the last decade in our north central Arizona home communities", added Protiva. "We are excited to bring our design expertise to this area's private development and municipal clients." SWI is currently working on entitlements for a subdivision with more than 700 homes in the Kingman area. In 2005, SWI performed the design of the widening of Lakeside Drive in Bullhead City and obtained the necessary Corps of Engineers 404 permit for the current mall expansion in Lake Havasu City. SWI offers a complete range of civil engineering and consulting services from the new Kingman office including subdivision design, feasibility studies, road and bridge design, grading and drainage, site and area master planning, wastewater systems design, water storage & distribution, traffic impact analysis, aerial mapping control, construction staking, hydrographic surveys and construction phase services. "Our focus will always be on improving the quality of life in the communities where we live and work," says Protiva. |
